Hi crafty pals 😉
Today I’m sharing a scrapbook layout of a couple of our holiday photos – actually from last year, but I’m happy to be finally getting the last of those pics in the album!
We visited Pembrokeshire in south Wales for our 2018 hols, and it was just fabulous. These photos are ones I took when we had a day out on Skomer Island… it’s a fantastic wildlife conservation haven, particularly for seabirds.
As you can see, it was blue skies all the way! We did a lot of walking and lots of wildlife watching, especially all the gorgeous puffins.
I was inspired for this page to use plenty of colourful patterned papers – I love them!
It was based on a sketch from the Pebbles Inc blog, a while ago, which I rotated.
I love all the layered effects, not just with the different papers, but also ephemera and stickers.
And I added extra texture with a wood veneer piece for a simple title.
Then not forgetting a bit of journaling. This page fits in my holiday album with plenty of other layouts about our day out on Skomer, where I’ve done more memory-keeping, so this one didn’t need to say too much.
Hope you liked this burst of colour and summery-ness today!
Enjoy your day, Ruth x
